A forgotten place..

Here’s a thing I don’t understand, Belgium. Not only cause it is divided into Wallonie, Vlaanderen and Brussels. But also cause it is an absolute amazing country.

Long white beaches by the coast and intriguing rivers, forests and hills in the south east.

The forests and the hills in the south east is one of my favourite parts in the world.

There is a lot to see and a lots to do. At least in some places. Others just offer great views and abandoned places.

Which is such a pitty and for sure a missed business opportunity in regards to tourism. In all it is a diamond in the rough.

The irony of it all is a lot of people in the Benelux travel to France and or Sweden to enjoy the exact same kind of nature experiences which are to be found in their own back garden.
