I decided to install a waterfall filter to the pond. Can’t say it is working that well. It is more like an epic fiasco.

I am terrible I know. I went out to buy cat food and an outdoor timer, the digital kind.

So, we bought a smaller fishpond kind of thing. I always wanted a water feature and watching the birds play around in our bird bath during last summer made me want one even more. So some weeks back in time we came home with a water feature to be.

So, this afternoon was exciting. I pulled out the amazing wood chipper from its winter storage. One week ago we cut down a smaller - but sadly dying - tree and trimmed a hedge.

Oh dear. Turns out placing pavers really did put strain on ones body. And I am not talking about any surgical wounds or similar from some five weeks back in time by now.

After two days of horses it was all focus on the side garden this rainy Sunday. The idea is to create some kind of a flowery meadow. This combined with some stepping stones a bird and bug bath should make this space a treat.

I have a serious craving for this sofa. I already had plans for at least one sofa for the garden.
