Epic fail Wednesday..
I really did not depend on getting any. So that was epic fail Wednesday numero uno.

Let's just name this day to epic fail Wednesday. Cause that really is how it feels right now. It all started with an acquaintance texting me with some unwanted but probably well meant piece of advice;
About the photos from yesterday, you should upload them to social media so people can download them for free. It will be great marketing for you!
Did I mention I used to work as a full time sports photographer in a niched area? No, well here it is. I used to work as full time sports photographer in a niched area and now I don't. So why is that one might ask?
A lot of it is down to the wanna bee photographers and even actual photographers (defined with people having an actual company registered by the tax government) that give all their photos away for free via the absolut low point of all social media channels that is Facebook.
No good will ever come out of that. At least not in a financial way that will benefit ones business, ever!
So no, I am not gonna give my photos away for free. I will offer them for money and if people want to pay fine by me.
If they don't it is also fine by me.
I really did it just for fun yesterday so even though money in is always a good thing I really did not depend on getting any. So that was epic fail Wednesday numero uno.
Moving on ..
Number two was me heading out for an actual job interview. For something that sounded interesting and something I thought I could do. Ok money, ok work hours and really close to home. Has in where I live.
So I got up and dressed for the occassion so to speak. Drove some 35km for my interview and within the first five minutes they have informed me they are not gonna present me for their client. Come again what?
Five minutes people! We hardly had the time to sit down and introduce ourselves to each other.
No instead they now tell me they liked my CV and wanted to see me in real life to see if I would be good fit to recruit me for something within their own company.
I know, at first glance that actually sounds very flattering.
At a second glance it really doesn't.
Who the f-ck (sorry for language) finds it appropriate to invite some one for an interview under false pretences. Talk about mega fiasco and epic fail. Number two of the day.
In my world it feels like I drove 70km for absolutely nothing. Even worse, I was not even offered coffee, tea or water. To me and most people I know offering a drink of somewhat is part of common courtesy!
Speaking of which..
Another thing common courtesy would be being on time! When it comes to time management and being on time I'm like an über fascist.
I cannot see how it can be hard for other people to not be on time. You just do it. Happy days, over and out. But evidently not everybody manage to fullfull simple tasks like being on time.
After my fiasco interview I had a phone meeting coming up at 1pm.
So what does one do when one is on the road and have a phone meeting planned for 1pm?
One park the car!
Pulls out the head set and surf on ones phone for some 5 minutes or so leading up to the scheduled meeting.
At 1pm I was good and ready to go.
At 5min past 1pm I was still waiting for my call and like hrm.
At 10min past 1pm I was still waiting for my call and like "now I've waited long enough. I will keep the ear phones in place and start driving".
At 15min past 1pm I was still waiting but out on the motorway thinking "I'll give it five more minutes then I'll remove the ear phones".
At 20min I removed the headset and kept on driving.
Finally some success!
At least my tour ended in a good way 🙌🏻
At one point I saw a dead bee inside the door of the car. When starting to remove it I thought it was moving a leg.
So I placed it on the passenger seat and fed the only thing I had in the car which was some whipped cream left over from my waffle lunch..
Not sure if he ate that or not but after driving for some ten minutes the little guy started to look more alert.
So I stopped by at a garden centre walked in with the bee in an old cookie wrapping and placed him on one of the plants in the green house.
I am thinking and hoping he'll be happier there than in our car.
