Everything looks the same..

I follow a lot of show on the tele that is about interior, gardening and house renovations. But lately it is starting to be a little bit of a drag. Almost every house that gets renovated on any kind of national tv-show looks exactly the same.

I can see the shows are sponsored by various companies. But a little bit of variation would be nice.

Today’s project at home was a small stretch of garden by the drive way. Too big to call a flower bed and too small to be a useful piece of garden except as a flower bed. And also a total mess of weed and plants.

Heading out I saw our new neighbours hard at work and walked up to introduce myself. Which ended up with her offering me plants from her front garden.

Welcome to Provence

I cannot believe the amazing stemmed up Rose I’ve admired since we moved in to our house in June last year, is now standing in the front of our house in that awkward over sized flower bed along the drive way.

The idea of that spot is to turn it into a Lavender field. Like “Welcome to Provence” if you’d like. The fact I also came home with some 10 Lavender plants from the new neighbours old garden was like frosting on the cake :D

On the back side the “Welcome to Scandinavia” forest garden is also shaping up quite well.
