Family research
About a year ago I started to fiddle with family research. I probably already told the story how I began at Ancestry and then moved along to My Heritage.

Technically I liked Ancestry so much better than My Heritage. Information wise it is the other way around.
A huge disappointment in all this is the people hanging about at Ancestry seem more eager to get in contact with people. At My Heritage not so much. And I really can’t see that people are flooded with messages from DNA-matches so they don’t care to respond. I find it such a bummer.
I really would want to connect with those distant relatives in North America. We don’t have to become best friends, but it would be fun to know where my relatives ended up when leaving Europe. But that’s me.
But the biggest bummer yet so far on this new adventure is still the fact my sister came back as a DNA-match as my full sibling. Cause it would have made more sense if she hadn’t.
