Garden bootcamp..
Based on a quick look of the local map our garden seem to one of the most versatile in our hood. How cool is that.

Like one and a half year ago we bought a house and a piece of jungle in the countryside. During the summer 2022 we moved in and discovered just how much of a jungle the garden really was.
Fast forward six months or so the jungle is still animal friendly but less of a jungle. Now we're actually getting somewhere in getting structure.
Interestingly enough part of this process made the ugliest part of the garden actually shaping into something that has potential to become the nicest part of the very same garden.
But guess where we placed the compost. Yupp, that's right. In the ugly corner. So yesterday it had to move. And moving some 1.5 cubic meter of compost really isn't as fun as one would think it would be - read the irony.
But now it is done. Placed on top of top lining to stay weed free I am now hoping it never has to be moved again.
Counting birds!
Way more exciting yesterday was to count birds for the national bird count. We came up with a descent amount of birds. And based on a quick look of the local map our garden seem to one of the most versatile in our hood. How cool is that.
But then again. Big Bird the Murderer seem to have moved in to stay. Cause the total amount of quick and painful deaths in our back yard now seems to be four in total.
