Heart breaking..

This article I stumbled upon the other day really broke my heart. No less than 21 species delisted from the endangered species act because they are extinct! Only in the US!! That is both heart breaking and makes my head kind of spin.

What is wrong with us humans? Why, where and how did we take upon ourselves to go all in and destroy this planet?

Like I said before and will say again, we go all in to try and plant native plants into our garden. We did remove three trees, one cause we had to, to get an old caravan out of our back garden. That tree has currently grown back into a 3m tall shrub.

We also removed an old Lilac. It was dangerously hollow and dead and could have hurt someone if falling down. Last but not least we did remove a tree that was blocking our house.

Red Robin

But we did not only cut back. In the back garden where we removed the above mentioned trees, we have also planted 6 trees.

We now have Apples, Pears, and no less than four Linden trees. We are also about to order 3 or 4 Red Robins to plant as a "privacy wall" to a neighbouring property.

Please enjoy the following story, I hope it was for real and really happening but for now it is all fiction..

Guardians of the Earth

In the heart of the lush Amazon rainforest, where emerald leaves whispered secrets to the wind and vibrant flowers painted the landscape, lived a curious young girl named Maya. Her eyes, filled with wonder, mirrored the beauty of her surroundings. But beneath her innocent gaze lay a growing concern for the endangered creatures that called the forest home.

Maya had heard stories from her grandparents about magnificent creatures like the jaguar, the eagle, and the pink river dolphin. These animals were more than just inhabitants of the forest; they were the guardians of Earth’s delicate balance. Yet, their existence was threatened by deforestation, climate change, and human greed.

One day, as Maya wandered deeper into the rainforest, she stumbled upon a clearing where a group of activists gathered. Their faces, filled with determination, spoke of the urgency to protect the endangered species. While listening to their speeches, Maya felt a spark ignite within her.

Together, they planted trees, created safe habitats for endangered animals, and petitioned their government to enforce stricter laws against poaching and deforestation.

With newfound purpose, Maya decided to embark on a mission to raise awareness about the importance of preserving biodiversity. She began by educating her fellow villagers, emphasizing how each species played a crucial role in maintaining the equilibrium of nature. The fragile ecosystem was like a complex, interconnected puzzle; removing one piece could cause the entire picture to crumble.

Maya's determination spread like wildfire, and soon, her village united in the cause. Together, they planted trees, created safe habitats for endangered animals, and petitioned their government to enforce stricter laws against poaching and deforestation. The community transformed into a beacon of hope, proving that collective efforts could make a difference.

As Maya continued her journey, she met people from different corners of the world, each fighting their battles to protect endangered species. She met marine biologists striving to save the majestic sea turtles, conservationists working tirelessly for the critically endangered rhinos, and researchers dedicated to preserving the delicate ecosystems of coral reefs.

In the midst of her travels, Maya encountered a wise old woman named Elena. With silver hair and eyes brimming with wisdom, Elena shared stories of a time when Earth’s creatures roamed freely without the shadow of extinction hanging over them. She reminded Maya of the interconnectedness of all living beings, emphasizing that humans were not separate from nature but an integral part of it.

Inspired by Elena’s words, Maya returned to her village with a renewed determination. She organized global awareness campaigns, connecting people worldwide through the power of social media. The stories of endangered species and the pressing need to protect our planet echoed across continents, igniting hearts and minds.

Through unwavering dedication and unity, Maya's efforts bore fruit. Governments implemented stricter environmental policies, corporations adopted sustainable practices, and communities across the globe embraced the responsibility of being Earth’s guardians. The endangered species, once on the brink of oblivion, began to thrive in their protected habitats.

As Maya stood amidst the rejuvenated rainforest, she felt a profound sense of gratitude. The symphony of chirping birds, rustling leaves, and the distant roars of a jaguar echoed a harmonious melody, celebrating the resilience of life. Maya knew that the fight was far from over, but she also realized the power of collective action and the indomitable spirit of those who dared to stand up for the voiceless.

The story of Maya and her village became a legend, a testament to the unwavering spirit of humanity and the crucial need to protect our planet.

The tale inspired generations to come, ensuring that the legacy of Earth’s guardians lived on, reminding the world that together, we could preserve the wonders of nature for future generations to marvel at and cherish.
