Gone table hunting..

This morning I headed out for a meeting that did not run according to plan. To drown my sorrows I then drove by a friend's place and hey, what do you know. She was home.

That impromptu meeting in between friends ended way more fun than the original one I had scheduled. Cause my friend and I shook hands on moving forward with a joint project. How very exciting 🙌🏻

Tables & Chairs

On my way home I went scouting for floor tiles for our powder room but ended up in a furniture store. A store that turned out to be very much inspirational.

First of all I really liked their styling. And in particular I really liked a couple of tables and an outdoor chair on display.

The two dining room tables were like worlds apart. One really old school French style farmhouse table vs. a 70s kind of thing.

Because I am really determined to find a French farmhouse looking table I was a bit surprised the other one appealed to me as much as it did. Even more so with the 70s vibes it was sending out.

Then it was the bar table. Absolutely perfect in height and size for our guest house and also in a style that is modern enough to not look like a drag. But also in a style that will fit with the "old barn" we're turning in to a guest wing and B&B.

Last but not least there was this amazing outdoor chair. I just loved the simplicity of it. And I'll bet it will look smashing just about anywhere in the garden where I would place it.

Now I just need to make a plan how to drag my significant other out of our house and go view these amazing pieces of furniture.. 😆
