Nature always wins...(gallery)
Oh the irony. This year we struggled more than usual to get our tomatoes out of the start box. We've nurtured our plants like they were babies, but still it took them a long, long time to even start looking like tiny tomato plants.

We also struggled with other plants but not as much as with the tomatoes and the ground cherries. The ground cherries are new to us. And a friend, who is indeed a gardener of trade, told us to make sure to keep them in a planter box so they won't spread.
So we do, but getting them to start growing in the first place was really hard work.
I don't know how many seeds I put into the ground just to watch those empty pots in the green house day after day, after day. But, one day something green stuck up, and in the end I had eight plants to place outdoors.
Little did I know these plants grow quite big, but you live and you learn. The harvest of these delicious Physalis treats looks really promising.

Also promising is our tomato harvest, but not the plants we planted according to every tip of the book, but the ones we just throw out in an empty space in a planter box.
Those seeds are now amazing plants and full of green tomatoes.
Which of course is in total opposite to the ones growing in their special tomato planters, and supposedly are very easy to grow. I beg to differ, and just admit defeat. Cause in the end of the day, nature always find a way, and nature always wins.
Also in our garden today were two super cute kittens about 12 weeks old. I have looked for them all day, and cannot find them back.
But if I do I will try to capture them and make sure they'll get a good home and a good life. On the top of my head I am thinking our sofa would be a nice first stop for them.
