Our new umbrella stand..

Yesterday I found this fab old oak umbrella stand online. The stand was offered for sale to the highest bidder.

I’ve been looking for a nice thing for umbrellas for a long time so it really caught my attention.

Even more so since the highest bid was just €15.

So message sent: What is your bottom price?

The response: €25

So here it is. Gorgeous and simple and here’s the twist. It comes from church in our very own village!!

The man had no idea where I came from so for sure that is like meant to be. Like almost bringing it back to where it came from in the first place.

I am thinking I will just clean it up and do a great wax job on it cause it really is beautiful the way it is.
