Oh dear what a week..
So getting back working after sick leave was interesting. Not only for starting a complete new job but also for things not going according to plan.

Am really happy with my freshly installed pot of bog plants. Will be exciting to see how the combination of white, purple and fuchsia coloured flowers will match.

Slow death in the pond.. 😔
How sad, I found a sick fish in the pond this morning. The poor guy was half dead already. And was quickly sent to fish heaven. Now we hope it was a one off.

Today I strolled around in our back garden.
By the far end patio we are trying to dig out I saw a big beautiful bumble bee looking for what I am thinking place to spend the night. And that’s when it hit me.

I love this time of year. Not only is the light coming back, but everything is also starting to get back to life.

I love the fact that a tiny bit of our garden is north facing and qualifies as a “forest garden”.
Renovation drama..
People that never renovated a house, as in doing bigger things that require a builder, cannot always relate to how it is. The dust, the noise, the people - a lot of them mega nice and some really awful and somewhat disgusting really.

Today I made a run for it to the local garden centre. It feels like it was for the 500th time or so only this week.
