Quick death at the McFly..

Nature is hard. Nature gives and natures takes. Today one of the fun little birds in our garden did not make it to breakfast. At least not his own. Instead the little - what I presume - House Sparrow turned into someone else's breakfast.

Sad for the little guy but good for the Sparrow hawk who seemed to enjoy his meal in the middle of our lawn. And here's the thing.

We do want our back garden to be full of life so even though we encountered this particular casualty this morning. We do seem to have an excellent foundation for wildlife to thrive in the back side.

Next step will be camera traps and a hide out to start documenting it all in our very own back garden safari 🤩
