Ready, steady, bbq..

Ready, steady, bbq..

Holy smoke, literally. Yesterday evening it was like everybody realised summer is soon to be over and fired up their barbies. We didn't.

Instead we choose for a bike ride. Getting new bikes last summer really was part of the plan of moving out to the country side and enjoy life. Which we do.

It is so peaceful in the National Park, and even though you always need to partially travel the same roads to get out there or coming home again we're so far not even being close to get tired of this place.

A bit tiring is the B&B is not ready yet. But we'll get there. A little bit more of paint work, a reconstruction of the staircase and we'll be good to go. D-day, or B-day if you'd like is set to October 1. An ambitious plan, but unless we had zero ambition we would not be here in the first place.

Also ambitious is to set up the web shop of Hilma's Vintage. For now i am fiddling and feeling my way through how to do it and I am sensing payment links direct here on the site is the best way to do it.

Cause setting up a complete web shop as well as maintaining it feels like a massive task. Maybe not so much if one actually keep multiple items in different colours and sizes in stock like a clothing store.

But me, I sell pretty vintage stuff that I found either out and about or that came to me in any other way. I feel kind of excited about this little side venture.

Another side venture in the making is a pod cast. I've already dipped my toes in that format and I love it. For Saving Memories though I have a bit of a scary project idea which I will share with you later.

Stay cool, and talk to you soon.
