Renovation drama..

People that never renovated a house, as in doing bigger things that require a builder, cannot always relate to how it is. The dust, the noise, the people - a lot of them mega nice and some really awful and somewhat disgusting really.

Our builder is mega nice. The people he brings to our house are also mega nice. And today he was set up to come here and install a new door - read replace our back door - which was really exciting for us.

But then, he arrives and tell me it has to be postpone till Monday. Cause the glass for the door wasn’t ready. What an anti climax! I had done all the preparations and made photos for our files.

I even lit a fire so we could sit on the terrace and drink coffee outside. And then nothing. No, that is not true. We did have coffee by the fire.

Well, the man will be back on Monday and I will take the opportunity to take off and view some horses.
