Side garden Sunday..

After two days of horses it was all focus on the side garden this rainy Sunday. The idea is to create some kind of a flowery meadow. This combined with some stepping stones a bird and bug bath should make this space a treat.

In all it is like 4x12m in size and currently more of a dirt pile than anything else. But when we moved this corner of our garden - just as many other bits of it - was literally buried under ivy so for sure there’s been development and improvement.

After loosing the yacky stitches on Thursday and being some plus 4 weeks in from my surgery I also feel like I can finally do things. And using the rubber hammer is one of the things I like the most.

Did not really know I had it in me to do lay pavers and I would be lying if I said I know exactly how to. But for our own garden and for the places I am doing it I believe I do good.

I also started to plant some bulbs for the coming season. Will continue doing that tomorrow. If I can get out of bed.. 😆
