You reap what you sow...
For this season I wanted to try something different. So, I put some decorative pumpkin seeds into the ground, and soon enough they've taken over the whole planter box, the fence, and some poor lilacs.

Oh the irony. This year we struggled more than usual to get our tomatoes out of the start box. We've nurtured our plants like they were babies, but still it took them a long, long time to even start looking like tiny tomato plants.
Every house and garden has them...
You know what I mean, those corners and or rooms that never really make sense. Rooms that end up like a total mess or storage. Even Monica Geller [Friends] turned out to have such a closet. In our garden we have one of those spots.

I would not brag too much about the quality of our lawn. But, considering the weather lately it is indeed alive and thriving.
Hello there...
All things come to an end, but not this page. Today I killed off my other project, my baby. Or at least it used to be my baby, but then the visitor numbers started to fade and peak downwards instead of upwards.
I love digging in the garden..
I love digging around in our garden. Some days are more fun the others. Today was one of the fun days. For one I found some amazing outdoor tiles by our log cabin.
A bit awkward maybe since we lived here for 2.5 year already. But never before did I noticed the pattern in these tiles.
I'm struggling..
Step one was to clear out this space from left over stones and bushes that have been killed by an evil Mot from Asia.

Depressing..
I am a bit lost for words. Yesterday morning I did not see any fish in our pond. Like no one. Yesterday afternoon same thing and late at night I spotted a tiny tail when out with the flashlight.

Over the past 1.5 year or so, ever since we signed the papers to exchange our big city townhouse to a country side retreat, I’ve read up a lot about gardening.

I am not sure what this means. Does it mean we have a real life garden gnome making a mess in the backgarden?
