Things I find in the garden..

Things I find in the garden..

When we moved into our house the garden was a total jungle. As a great example of this we had no idea how big the terrace was. Not even after a handful of vievings of the property could we antisipate the size and shape of this completely over grown area of the garden.

However, after we started to cut down things and digging a bit deeper we soon realised the patio area was not only about twice the size of what we originally though it was.

Turned out it was also beautifully paved in a gorgeous circular pattern of cobble stones.

During summer I paid attention to some wild growing hedges in our front garden. Hedges in which I found garden tool after garden tool. Tools that had been like fully integrated into the hedges and plants around them.

And yesterday, at the far end of our back garden, I found a complete other set of tools.

Broken pitchforks, something I assume to be a foot for an outdoor Christmas tree and some other nick nacks. Things that I have now started to collect in a pile by our pretty, but oh so broken, bird bath.

No wonder the garden was looking like an original jungle when we moved in.

Cause evidently someone started to do a bit of gardening some 20 years ago and then forgot the tools outside, during a coffee break I presume, and never got back to business..
