Three shots, pop, pop, pop...
Morning mist, an empty road, policemen walking along it, searching. And then, three gunshots echoing through the trees. Pop. Pop. Pop. Just like that.

Some days more than ever, today was one of those days, I wish I had a dash cam. This morning on my way to a client I admit I was close to speeding on a two lane stretch with a speed limit of a 100km/h.
However, further up the hill I saw some blinking lights and police cars Better slow down to make the 80km/h that was coming up. Getting closer to the police cars I also saw police men walking along the road. Walking and searching.
Which made me slow down to 30km/h, and soon enough ending up as the leader of the pack of cars.
Then, out of the blue, just some 10m away from my car one of the policemen grabs his gun and fire away.
Three rounds.
Pop.
Pop.
Pop.
While me try to connect the dots of what's happening outside my car.
Bank robbers? Do they even exist in the year of 2025?
Trouble at the asylum lock up close by?
What the heck happened here?
Then I see it, the wild boar behind the police man, still alive, lifting his head. And then, just like that, it is over.
I have passed the site.
I am still on my way to work, now with a facial expression most likely resembling the painting "The Scream" by Edward Munck.

I've completely lost the plot in the true crime podcast I was listening to seconds before. Quite frankly, at this point, I'm so lost in confusion I could not find the episode back even if I wanted to.

But I am boiling over with questions.
Why don't I have a dash cam? Simple answer, cause I never got one...
How hard can it be to kill a presumed already injured Wild Boar when shooting point blank from a distance of 5m with ones service weapon? A solid source tell me if one actually know what one is doing it only takes one bullet.
Is it normal to NOT close down traffic in situations like these?
Did they even think about the consequences for civilians [me with a front row ticket] mental state of mind being forced into a Monday drama like this?
Last but not least, why do I always seem to have a front row ticket to bizarre things like this?
