Upcycling and renovations..
So by choosing the high and low end of the scale shops one will get to see most things on trend right now.

Let's face it. Upcycling and renovations are on trend. They've been on trend for a long time by now. Personally I love it. Cause I always enjoyed to fix up and try to make my home nice on a limited budget if you'd like.
But lately I have noticed some people really got it all wrong. The price level of some objects that may not even be that popular with the general public are now being priced at almost laughable prices. And not in a good way.
I like to go scavenger hunting at flea markets and antique shops.
In my old hood I had a pretty good clue in which shop to go to for inspiration only and for shopping. To me an inspirational shop is like going to either an over priced store or the occasional trip to IKEA just to look.
Cause most shops in the mid segment will still have the same kind of stuff.

New hunting grounds.
In our new hood I am struggling a bit to find good vintage shopping in physical stores. So far I struck gold on one shop which also is the closest one.
They have something for just about anybody in regards to both price range and style. So that is good.
But since I have lost my old hood and they shops I have also turned a lot of focus to the online market places. And that is where the drama begin.
People just don't know the value of their stuff. Some people set the prices painfully low while others miss the mark and set them so high it is almost laughable.
The first scenario of not knowing the value of their stuff reminds me of the time I picked up a €850 brand new Mulberry hand bag for 50 cent! I even got it verified by Mulberry it is a genuine bag.
That won't probably not happen to anybody anytime soon. But for now I just want to buy an old table top that doesn't cost over 500 euro for no reason known to man
