My little garden pond..

A garden pond has been a long dream of mine. And now it is finally getting together. Nothing big and over the top but like a beginner's pond to see if this is something we can do in a bigger scale.

Digging out ground for placing the pre-made pond was maybe not the most fun of things to do. But for sure it was a good work out.. ;)

And now it is almost time to order the plants and "throw them in" to equation. I'm thinking pink water lilies will look nice. And I have found a company that claims no pump or filter is needed if just using the right kind of plants.

This really intrigues me cause even though I just buried a big chunk of rubbery plastic - the pond - in our garden. I really like the idea of giving nature back to nature so to speak.

So if the pond can be run using nature's own recipe for clear and fresh water. I am all in. Stay tuned :)
