Welcome to my office..

So, I’ve been a bad bad writer since I started to work full time again. Really bad. But, to my defence I do post photos in my “photo stream” basically every day. And in all the other lack of writing is not only down to lack of time. It is most certainly also due to lack of a writer’s den.

Sitting on the attic was fun for a while but then the idea of climbing all those stairs to get up to my computer felt like a drag. Especially after clocking in some 14h a day at my current day work.

So, we decided to move my office into the space that is supposed to be my office. So here I am. Sitting in a room with a lot of natural light, exposed pipes, open brick walls and a bad floor.

However, the ideas for this space are like endless. In an already quirky house from the 30s we have here crated a space with extreme high ceilings and the possibility to think in terms of tiny house when we finally get to renovate in here.

The memoirs of mrs X

Till then I am re-boosting two other writing projects - sweet lord - and continue with this blog and spend my days at work driving around the Benelux thinking of a plot for a novel. The work of this novel is currently running under the name: The memoirs of mrs X*

Which will land into a genre I never ever thought I would land into if and writing a book - every day life! The novel I’ve actually already started is going slow.

I have the plot, I have the characters but turning it into an interesting story for others to read has so far failed epically. Just maybe I should scrape the idea as a whole and put all focus on the memoirs of mrs X.

Cause let me tell you this. That one is juicy as hell..

* mrs X has a real name but more about that later..
