Welcome to the Block..

The other day it really felt like a crazy episode of the Block. You know the type of episode where the couple that blew their budget on the first bath room have to start working and do everything all by themselves.

What a drama. Not one single tradie in sight.

In our case the "no tradie zone" was more of a way to save money. Cause some things we're totally capable of doing ourselves. One of them being demolition..

Unfortunately this was not as much of a demolition kind of job as it was a pull out the old floor and replace it with new modern sheets.

So at one end of the house someone ripped out the floor boards and somewhere outside the house someone - me - collected what ever crap came flying out the window on the second floor.

This is where that the Block feeling came over me. All that was missing was a camera crew and a forman yelling why the heck I didn't had a helmet on.
