Yellow walls be gone..

We finally got around to paint the walls in our dining room. The four of them went from some weird kind of “piss yellow” too white and graphite, and we just love it.

However, it is really hard to not be “allowed” to talk about it. The reason being our family doesn’t know we finally got round to fix up this part of the house.

After getting pretty white walls I also realised all light bulbs have a yellow tint. Which means when it’s dark outside all walls that are white look piss yellow again..

So now I reinvested in more white lights, and suddenly everything looks as chic as it we intended it to. We can also live like this for at least a couple of more years.

The whole idea of our downstairs it to take down the wall in between the dining and living areas and create one big L-shaped living area. When we come to that is also when we’ll install a wood burner. It’s gonna be amazing.

But for now, we’re just working hard in getting the guest house and our downstairs together for the Holiday Season. It will be great.
