Yesterday I set a new personal best...
Yesterday was a big day. Cause yesterday I set a new personal best in regards to blog viewers. Did the numbers skyrocket over the moon? No, not really. Did they make me feel good? Yes they did, and here's why.

Technically one shouldn't count visitors and viewers as much as one tend to do.
But after completely failing to get my other baby off the ground. A small climb in numbers and setting a personal best in visitors for Saving Memories really made wonders for my self confidence motivation.
In the end of the day, Saving Memories is not my end goal. I have an idea for a book.
Actually I have an idea for a series of books but to get there I first of all need to get used to typing. Get used to put those words together and let them tell a story.
Yesterday and today I also had a nice online conversation with a random stranger.
I happened to see he had done the same journey as myself in leaving Substack - an original writer's platform, turned social media monster - in favour for the platform my blog is built upon which would be a thing called Ghost.

Simplicity
I love this editor.
It is simplicity at its best.
But back to those visitor numbers. I've heard it being said many times most blogs die after three months. Doing my very own unscientific studies on the topic seem to confirm that is true.
Same thing with podcasts.
Most of them never make it over 12 episodes.
My old one made it just over 50. And now I am wondering what to do with my pod gear.
Should I keep it?
Should I sell it?
I'm not really sure. So for now, I'll just hold on to it. Who knows what the future will come up with.
